At ThrivePath Psychiatry PLLC, we want you to feel confident and supported as you begin care. This FAQ answers common questions about our services, telepsychiatry, and what to expect.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
No. ThrivePath Psychiatry PLLC is a 100% virtual practice. All appointments are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
What states do you serve?
We provide psychiatric services to patients who are physically located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire at the time of their session.
What age groups do you treat?
We provide care across the lifespan, including children (6+), adolescents, adults, and older adults. Treatment is developmentally appropriate and customized to individual needs.
Who will I see?
All care is delivered by Tracy Otubu, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and founder of ThrivePath Psychiatry PLLC.
What conditions do you treat?
We offer evaluation and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression & mood disorders, anxiety & panic disorders, ADHD, PTSD & trauma, bipolar disorder, sleep disturbances, and adjustment and stress-related concerns.
Do you prescribe medications?
Yes. We provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for both controlled and non-controlled medications, when clinically appropriate.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. ThrivePath Psychiatry PLLC is in-network with most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Optum. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment by emailing info@thrivepathpsychiatry.com, filling out a secure booking form (coming soon), or calling once our business line is active. After scheduling, you'll receive access to our Valant patient portal to complete intake and consent forms.
What forms do I need to complete?
Before your first session, we will send you digital forms through our HIPAA-secure portal, including consent for treatment, patient rights & responsibilities, financial agreement, controlled substances agreement (if needed), demographics & medical history, and optional release of information. Forms must be completed at least 24 hours before your first appointment.
Is my information secure?
Yes. We are HIPAA-compliant and committed to protecting your privacy. Your medical records are stored securely and transmitted through secure telehealth platforms.
What if I am experiencing a crisis?
ThrivePath Psychiatry PLLC does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a crisis, call 911 or dial 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) immediately.
